Fitting guide

Getting the fit right matters more with a strong dog. A collar that's too loose can slip at the wrong moment, and one that's too tight will rub. Here's how to measure before you order.

Collars

Use a soft tape measure around your dog's neck where the collar will actually sit. Wide padded collars sit higher than a flat collar, so measure there. Keep the tape snug, with room to slide two fingers underneath.

Compare your measurement with the size chart on the product page. Every collar lists the neck range each size fits, in centimetres. If your dog sits near the top of one size and the bottom of the next, choose the larger size.

Harnesses

Measure around the chest at its widest point, just behind the front legs, then measure the neck where a collar would sit. Check both against the size chart on the product page.

Muzzles

Measure around the snout about 1 cm below the eyes, with your dog's mouth slightly open, then measure from that point to the tip of the nose. A muzzle needs to leave room for your dog to pant and drink, so allow about a finger's width at the end of the nose.
